First shave of 2017 using some favorites from 2016 and a brand new brush. This soap from CRSW is a fantastic in both scent and performance and there is simply no finer shaving instrument in my den than this EPBD, I was BBS after a single pass. For sale from my personal collection is a collectors piece, Silver Steel Warranted straight razor, V Crown R. Restored as best as i could in original bone scales. It is very very sharp but one scale has a crack on the inside near tang, (see pics) & the cutting edge near heel also has a split that spreads onto the blade face but can only be seen under a powerful loupe. Both the split & the crack have never given me any problems & this is why it has to be sold as a collectors piece rather than a shaving tool. Pitting,patina & hone wear still remain. Brass collars & pins.
