  The Dovo Facharbeit Straight Razor is a limited-edition collectible for traditional wet shavers, with just 500 pieces of each design produced.
  
  The stainless steel blade of the Facharbeit was subjected to comprehensive quality testing to determine the exact production tolerances required for exceptional resistance to wear and tear and corrosive components.
  
  This straight razor is ready to use right out of the box. However, the best results can be achieved if you stropped it before and after each shave. Maintaining the razor this way ensures it retains its sharp edge for as long as possible.
  
  
• Square point
  
  The square point has a very sharp point perpendicular to the razor’s edge. It allows you to get closer to the skin when trimming your sideburns than you could with a round point, and you can see exactly where the blade is positioned as you shave. A square point is one of the least "forgiving" straight razor points and is best for experienced straight razor shavers.
  
  
• Hollow grind
  
  Hollow grinding gives your straight razor a concave-shaped blade edge. Compared to wedge straight razors, the blade that has been hollow ground is thinner and more flexible because more steel has been removed.
  
  A straight razor with a hollow grind feels lighter and easier on the skin, which can help prevent shaving nicks. It also gives you more feedback, so it's easier to know when your blade feels dull and needs to be sharpened.
  
  
• 6/8”
  
  The 6/8-inch straight razor is most effective when used to shave coarse facial hair. Because the blade is heavy, it moves gently and effortlessly over your skin without you having to shave with a heavy hand. Straight razors with 6/8" blades allow smoother, more deliberate strokes and can hold a little more lather than small blades, which fill up quickly and need to be rinsed more often, slowing the shaving process.
